Amey wins ‘Best Transport Project’ at the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) Awards 2024

Amey, triumphed at this year’s Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) Awards, winning the ‘Best Transport Project’ category for its Liverpool City Centre Connectivity scheme (LCCC).

Amey took the top spot in the category through its exceptional design and consulting work on the LCCC scheme in collaboration with Liverpool City Council. The LCCC initiative was designed to revolutionise the way in which people travel in and around Liverpool City Centre. The scheme offers real modal choice, helping to improve the safety, health and wellbeing of pedestrians and cyclists. The project was also a key part of an overarching programme to create safe and sustainable infrastructure of the future.

The ‘Best Transport Project’ award category recognises exceptional transport projects or initiatives that have made significant positive impacts on communities as well as delivering broader net zero and social value goals. The annual ACE awards recognise and celebrate the individuals, teams, and organisations making outstanding contributions to the consultancy and engineering cross-section. This is Amey’s latest accolade for its work on the LCCC scheme, with the company also winning the ‘Creating Better Places’ category at the 2024 CIHT Awards.
