Amey has been awarded the prestigious Gold Standard in the National Highways Strategic Supplier Procurement Plan (SSPP) assessment for 2024. This recognition reflects Amey's unwavering commitment to excellence in procurement, supply chain management, and operational performance.

The Gold Standard initiative is a rigorous assessment that evaluates various aspects of a company's operations. Amey's dedication to this initiative has been evident through the time, effort, and resources invested by its teams. The final review confirmed that Amey achieved a perfect score of 28/28 in the assessment.

This accomplishment underscores the high standards maintained by Amey and its suppliers in the industry.

National Highways Procurement Director, Andrew Stephenson said: “The National Highways Gold Standard was developed in 2022 and is aimed at increasing the commercial and procurement maturity of our supply chain.

“Amey has been successful in demonstrating their alignment to all of our assessment criteria which focuses on evidencing best practice approaches across key areas such as strategic procurement; subcontractor performance management, demand and operational planning as well as contracting strategy.

“Suppliers need to meet all requirements within the assessment to achieve Gold status so this is no small task and ultimately results in a more mature, capable and resilient supply chain.”

Amey's success in the SSPP assessment is a result of its collaborative efforts with the client and supply chain, driving more effective outcomes for all parties involved.
