Amey has been appointed to the YORconsult3 Consultants Framework to deliver civil and structural engineering consultancy services to local authorities and third sector organisations.
The YORConsult3 procurement framework is designed to help all public sector bodies and third sector organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber region, North East of England, and the Midlands to find high-quality consultancy services related to construction. This includes general construction works, estate services, as well as local authority urban planning, and environmental services.
As a designated consultancy supplier on the framework, Amey will be able to secure public and third sector contracts to deliver a wide range of construction related consultancy services, following its successful appointment to both the Civil Engineering and Drainage and Flood Alleviation Lots within the framework. These two lots of services will cover the provision of civil and structural engineering, flood prevention works (including studies), sewerage and drainage works.
Alex Gilbert, Managing Director, Consulting, Amey, said:
“We’re pleased to announce our appointment to the YORConsult3 procurement services framework. It is testament to the trust and confidence placed in our team’s ability to deliver high-quality engineering consultancy services for public sector bodies and third sector organisations. This opportunity goes a long way to reinforce our unwavering commitment to supporting infrastructure development across the UK and further strengthens our position as a leading provider of sustainable infrastructure solutions.”
Amey’s appointment to the YORConsult3 framework stems from its previous successes working on both YORConsult 1 and 2, where the company worked with East Riding Yorkshire Council to transform to transform Goole Town Centre into a modern and attractive space for people creating a lasting positive impact for the local community and economy. The news also highlights Amey’s strong presence in the Yorkshire region, having also previously worked with Wakefield Council to upgrade the city’s old residential streetlights to more energy-efficient LED lighting alternatives.
