Amey, the leading provider of full life-cycle engineering, operations and decarbonisation solutions for UK infrastructure, has been awarded a place on the Pagabo Professional Services Framework for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further year.

As a designated consultancy supplier on the framework, Amey will be able to secure contracts to deliver a wide range of professional services for public sector organisations including schools, universities, government departments, and local authority organisations in several regions across the UK and Northern Ireland. This includes four lots of services covering decarbonisation retrofit for non-dwellings, civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture design, and sustainability and environmental consultancy.

As part of the framework, Amey will have the opportunity to support organisations to decarbonise their built environments through the provision of consulting services related to sustainable boiler refitting, energy-efficient light replacement, insulation, and EV charging infrastructure.

This new framework appointment is further recognition of Amey’s decarbonisation expertise, with the company’s recent achievement of the carbon management accreditation; PAS 2080:2023 designer certification, proving a welcome credential. The news also follows a successful period of framework wins with the company recently announcing its appointment to the North West and Central Region Environmental and Professional Services Framework to support Network Rail’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy.

Alex Gilbert, Managing Director, Consulting, Amey, said:

“We’re pleased to announce our appointment to the PAGABO Professional Services Framework. This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering excellence in consulting and engineering services to support the energy-transition needs of public sector organisations. We look forward to bringing our decarbonisation expertise to help provide more sustainable solutions to the built environment that the public rely on.”

Jason Stapley, Chief Procurement Officer, Pagabo, said:

“Professional services is our most popular framework offering so we were expecting a high level of quality bids for the new iteration – and we were not wrong. Now on its third instalment, this framework goes from strength to strength – continually demonstrating quick, simple and effective procurement possibility.

“There is a perfect blend of continuation from the previous iteration alongside changes that address the needs of clients and suppliers. As a result, the opportunities offered to suppliers are very valuable and clients are provided with easy access to the best selection of organisations in the consultancy industry.”
